The Laowa 24mm Pro2be T8 3-Lens Set comprises of three front modules. Along with the Direct View and 90° modules, the Pro2be features a 35° module. They provide a 36.6cm (14.41 inches) Waterproof Distance for enhanced underwater performance. It features a 4mm close focusing distance that can deliver the image in 2:1 magnification and a T8.0 maximum aperture. Interchangeable mounts for Canon EF, Canon RF, Nikon Z, Sony E, Leica L, or Nikon F mount are sold separately. *note: scales are in metric only.

Technical Specifications for Laowa 24mm Pro2be T8

The 24mm T14 2x Laowa PeriProbe not only inherits all the great features from the 24mm T14 2x Laowa Probe lens, a new tube with periscope is now also included. The new 90° Periscope tip unlocks countless new exciting movement. The 85° AoV and a very close 2cm working distance help created the bug-eye perspective. The 2x magnification allows for capturing subjects of different sizes with details. Users could poke the long and waterproof barrel into a tight space and underwater to obtain a unique perspective. The LED Ring Lite provides an extra light source. Users could also switch the 90° periscope back to the 0° straight scope. The lens could rotate 360° along the axis by unlocking the orientation ring. Additional accessories can also be mounted at the tip of the lens through the 1/4 screw hole.

The 24mm T14 2x Laowa Periprobe includes (1) Main Unit, (1) 90° Module and (1) Direct View Module. The lens also includes: (1) white USB cable dimmer (with power adjustment), (1) black USB cable (without power adjustment), (1) protective case, (5) front and rear caps for all modules and the main unit.

Atlas Anamorphic (aka Atlas Orion Anamorphic) lenses are built to be a universal filmmaking tool – ready for the latest Digital Cinema PL mount cameras like ARRI ALEXA Mini, and are even designed to accommodate the rotating mirror shutter of 35mm Motion Picture Film Cameras following ARRI PL Flange requirements. Focus has a deep 270° travel rotation. Cine pitch 0.8 mod gearing on both iris and Focus ring are spaced to allow simultaneous drive control, even when two motors are mounted on the same side of the lens.

Put simply, anamorphic lenses optically squeeze the image horizontally onto your recording medium to give you a wider field of view. The Atlas Orion Anamorphic Primes offer a cost-effective way to shoot anamorphic – generating an oval bokeh and controllable lens flares.

Why is Cinemascope Anamorphic shooting so special? It’s often difficult to put into words the feeling we are left with when watching something shot using Anamorphic lenses. One particularly unique feature of a true front Anamorphic Lens is that for a given focal length, you have the same vertical field of view as that of a spherical lens of the same focal length, but with twice the horizontal field of view (2X). In the example of a 65mm 2x Anamorphic Lens, you would have a 65mm vertical FOV with 32.5mm equivalent horizontal FOV.

In effect, you can capture a wide-angle image with the inherent shallow Depth of Field qualities of a telephoto prime lens. This optical property creates a unique sense of perspective magnification which generates depth in your images — at times feeling more epic than real life as we experience it!

Macro photographers  usually face the problem of not being able to shoot smaller subjects. With the Laowa probe, you can now take advantage of the 2:1 maximum magnification to shoot really small bugs and reveal details that cannot be seen by naked eye. It is particularly useful for videography as both finer details and environmental background can be captured in one shot.

For traditional macro lenses, you need to get so close to your subject in order to take a good macro shot but some areas are just simply inaccessible. Thanks to the 40cm (15.7″) long barrel, you can focus really close to the subject but still keep yourself and your camera distance away. This feature is super useful and makes your macro shooting so much easier. Imagine how convenient it will be to shoot a frog hiding in the bushes using our Probe lens, compared to getting your typical 100mm macro lens super close to it to avoid leaves blocking your subject.

Getting proper lighting onto the subject is not always an easy task for macro photography. Typical macro lenses have large lens barrels (at least 60mm or above in diameter), blocking most of the light from hitting the subject. Our Laowa probe, on the other hand, features a 20mm diameter lens tip which makes it super easy to get sufficient illumination.

The tiny 0.2cm in diameter lens tip unlocks the possibility to get really close to your subject (OR very low to the ground level) to capture a ‘delicious’ perspective never seen before and maximize the visual impact

In order to bring you an even more exciting perspective and take your photos or video to the next level, we have made the front barrel of the Laowa probe waterproof. The waterproof design also implies shooting in dusty environment or with fine powders are not going to be a problem anymore.

Macro photography are about Depth of Field and so smaller aperture is usually used. A LED ring light (powered through the micro-usb slot on the barrel) is embedded in the lens tip to provide additional lighting for focus assistance. In most cases, the more lighting you have on your subject, the better your shot will look..

The Laowa 24mm f/14 Probe can cover both the standard 35mm full frame & Super35 image sensor.

The growing demand for vintage Cooke Speed Panchro lenses from the 1920s to 1960s prompted the introduction of a modern redesign of the vintage classic: the Cooke Panchro/i Classic, T2.2 to T3.2 Prime lenses.

The new Cooke Panchro/i, that is true to the original look of the now legendary Speed Panchro, recreates the same look and feel of the original with the advantage of modern glass mounted for today’s cameras. And, the new lenses come equipped with /i Technology for frame by frame digital information capture, as do all modern Cooke cine lenses for film and digital capture.

The original Cooke Speed Panchro, designed by Horace W. Lee in the 1920s, was a cine prime lens that chromatically enhanced an image when filming under restricted illumination. Cooke Speed Panchros combined a relative aperture as wide as f2.0 with an angular field of view and definition previously impossible with much smaller apertures. They quickly gained a worldwide reputation for quality cinema production and were widely used throughout the 20th century.

When using the Horizon Tracker module, the horizon can be set to the desired position and locked. This innovation allows the objective lens of the snorkel to be panned while the horizon remains in the level or dutched position that you have chosen. A six or seven inch diameter is all that is needed to achieve the 360 degree pan making this device ideal for tabletop or miniature shots!

The Dual Swivel module adds a second pan axis to the lens system. In this case, the horizon lock is not used. The horizon can be adjusted manually or electronically. The Scorpio focus system available at Clairmont Camera, can be programmed to automatically correct the horizon while panning with the Dual Swivel module.

The Revolution Lens System includes 9.8mm, 12mm, 16mm, 20mm, 24mm, 32mm, 40mm and 60mm Revolution lenses plus interchangeable “PL” mount for use with selected “PL” mounted prime and zoom lenses. The “T” stop range is T7.5 to T64. The “PL” mount at the camera end of the Revolution will accept one 40.5mm filter at the rear and two 40.5mm filters screwed into the front of the mount. The Revolution lenses can be filtered directly by attaching the 2″ x 3″ clamp on filter holder. This holder can be used either in a horizontal or vertical position on the lens. When using “PL” mounted lenses, filters can be attached to the front of the lens in the conventional manner.

They also function as a “format adapter” to cover large sensor cameras.

They are compatible with all Optimo and Optimo Style lenses (they are not compatible with former Optimo DP lenses).
